Out of India, sad face

Its been a long time since my last post, right now I am on a little island in Thailand and India feels like a lifetime away. Leaving was really hard and that is why Mo and I are treating ourselves to some beach paradise in hopes making ourselves feel better about leaving. After Varanasi we went to Bodhgaya where the Bodhi tree is and got adopted by a family. We set up a system so that we are paying for two boys to go to school there. We also celebrated a traditional festival with them, one where the wives honored the husbands. We honored the gods with fruit and songs and danced with the women as they sang traditional songs. After we left there we headed to Rishikesh, in the north where the Ganges seeps out of the mountains. We spent the rest of our time there, doing yoga and hanging out with holy Saddhu people and fellow travelers. In sum India was the most rich experience I have ever had. Life was so raw there, it really opened me up as a person and exposed me to a deeper level of humanity. Imagine a fairytale world, where magic is possible and is used for good and evil. Where one's senses are so hightend that sights, smells, sounds etc. are more vivid and sometimes overwhelming. India has a vibe, a pool of energy that is concentrated and unlike anywhere else in the world. If one can tap into it than the world opened up is the world of "Everything is possible," as is constantly said by the people there. You can see why it was hard to leave...
We flew out of India and are now on a small island, KO Chang, it is beautiful but raining. Damn monsoon. Anyway trying to prepare myself for home, looking forward to it but still sad about ending my travels. Can't wait to see you all, much much love to all!!!
